Our Story

Fresh out of high school and full of dreams, took his friends from Kolkata on a trek to Neora Valley National Park in the upper reaches of Kalimpong about 13 years ago. They walked for five days through the pristine Himalayan forests, home to the elusive red panda offering spectacular views of Mt Kanchenjunga.

By the end of the trip, a dream was born. The happiness Oshan saw in his friends' eyes, he now wanted to spread to others. He decided he would help people travel—to explore the unknown; to connect with nature and their own deeper selves.

The tiny village Lepchakha is situated district of Alipurduar northern part of West Bengal, under the Buxa Tiger Reserve, Dooars. Surrounded by its stunning naturalistic views at the hilltop of BTR on the border of Bhutan. It is a place where nature rules, casting its spell over visitors with cascading waterfalls, emerald-green meadows and dense forests filled with life. The Dukpa Living Heritage Festival is a vibrant celebration dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the Dukpa community. This festival aims to showcase traditional customs, arts, crafts, music, and dance, providing an immersive experience for participants and fostering a deeper appreciation of Dukpa heritage. Through a term exposer and survey with the help of experts we have realize that there has been deterioration in the ICH (Intangible Cultural Heritage) of the Dukpa communities hence during the festival we look forwards to bring cultural experts groups and ICH experts from Bhutan to exhibit and also teach the local Dukpa communities in the process.
